Service Technician
Installation, Service, and Troubleshooting Technician
Primary Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Primary Installation Technician
- Primary Service Technician, as required, in the field
- Respond to service calls, troubleshoot, and direct other responsible parties in corrective action and repairs
- Troubleshoot problems with equipment, under direction of the Service Manager, and direct implementation of solutions
- Prepare spare parts lists for current customers
- Proofread and assist in the preparation of the machine manuals.
- Design and manage service projects, in unison with the Service Manager
- Visit installation sites and create action list, if needed, and assist with problem solving
- Create and direct preventative maintenance packages and, if purchased, perform at equipment site
- Maintain service log and action list
- Maintain spare parts lists
- Prepare quotes, as directed from Service Manager
- Perform routine customer follow-up calls for updates and customer satisfaction
- Serve as backup to Service Manager
- Travel approximately 50% of the time
- Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager

Education & Experience
- Minimum 2 year degree or experience in related position
- Ability to view CAD drawings used when troubleshooting
- Maintain CAD drawings as installed projects change
- Ability to use software used to maintain accurate material and spare parts lists
- Software code framework and programming abilities
- Knowledge of Aagard’s current and past equipment
